KOMPAS.com – PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) continues to be committed to developing infrastructure and utilizing natural gas in various regions. This time, PGN cooperates with PT Papua Doberai Mandiri (Padoma). “Hopefully this collaboration will accelerate the development of natural gas infrastructure, especially in Papua, so that the great benefits of natural gas can be enjoyed by more people in Papua,” said PGN Commercial Director Danny Praditya. In addition, PGN and Padoma will also synergize in the construction and operation of power plants, land use for the development of gas or LNG infrastructure, as well as other supporting infrastructure. Currently, PGN has distributed natural gas energy to 3,898 houses in Sorong, West Papua. The natural gas network is spread across five urban villages, namely Malawili, Malawele, Mariat Pantai, Klabinain, and Aimas with an average tariff of Rp. 40,000 per month.
